The Appetito Cream Whipper doesn’t just whip cream for topping desserts and beverages with flair. With the help of this versatile kitchen tool you can also easily whip up mousses, sauces, light desserts and more.
Instructions:
1. When using the cream whipper for the first time, or if you have not used it for awhile, rinse the bottle first with warm water then with cold water and fill it with well-chilled fresh cream or other relevant ingredients, depending on the recipe.
2. Do not fill the cream whipper with more than the permissible quantity as indicated on the bottle – 500ml. Please note: When preparing recipes, it’s important to first dissolve solids (eg. sugar) into the cream in order to avoid clots of cream forming. When preparing fruit creams, use the juice only – not the fruit – as seeds and pulp will clog the dispenser.
3. Place the gasket inside the head on the bottle and screw the head onto the bottle evenly and firmly. The head is in the correct place when the thread guides are not visible. Do not force.
4. Insert the cream whipper charger bulb (N20) into the charger holder. (Charger bulb not included).
5. Screw the charger bulb holder onto the inlet valve (fig.1) until the charger content is released with a hissing sound. Use only one charger for each filling. Shake cream whipper briskly four
to five times in a vertical direction. When using wellcooled light cream or other mixtures, shake up to 10 times.
6. Unscrew the charger holder and charger bulb. Remove and discard empty shell chargers which are not recyclable.
7. To dispense, hold cream whipper vertically with the decorating nozzle pointing downwards about 1cm above the surface. To decorate, press the lever lightly. If whipped cream or the cold mixture is not firm enough, shake once more. Note: When using at a later stage, do not shake the cream whipper again.
8. Storage: When cream whipper still contains cream, place it in the refrigerator (never in the freezer). Before storage, remove the decorating nozzle from the nozzle adaptor, rinse thoroughly and put the nozzle back onto the cream whipper. The contents will stay fresh for several days.
Cleaning Instructions:
1. Before opening, allow remaining pressure to escape by pressing the lever.
2. Unscrew the head and remove the head seal and decorating nozzle. Hold the end of the valve
inside the head while unscrewing the nozzle adapter with the other hand.
3. Thoroughly clean each individual component with a mild detergent and a brush.
4. Allow the parts to dry and store the head and bottle separately.
5. Do not clean any compartment of the cream whipper in the dishwasher or in boiling water.
Helpful Tips:
1. Before filling the cream whipper, cool well in cold water or in the refrigerator.
2. Only use soluble ingredients. Insoluble substances such as seeds, pulp etc prevent the closure of
the delivery valve or might impair the function of the cream whipper.
3. To sweeten, it’s best to use powered sugar or liquid sweeteners. Granulated sugar or salt must be dissolved in water before use. Please use powered or liquid spices only.
4. Over-shaking will make pure, heavy cream too stiff. Therefore, when using pure cream only shake four to five times and do not shake every time before dispensing. Shake, test, and shake again if required. Recipes that require mixtures of cream and other liquids should be shaken well and more frequently.
5. When dispensing, always hold the cream whipper upside down with the decorating nozzle
pointing downwards otherwise pressure will escape and some cream will remain inside the
cream whipper.
6. For best results, serve immediately upon dispensing.
Safety Tips:
1. The cream whipper and charger bulbs are pressured vessels which require attention and care.
2. Never combine parts from other similar products.
3. Do not attempt to make modifications or repairs to the cream whipper yourself as this can cause
damage and will render any guarantees or liabilities void.
4. Keep the Appetito Professional Cream Whipper and charger bulbs out of the reach of children.
5. All cream whipper parts can be easily assembled – do not use force.
6. For safety reasons, do not lean over the cream whipper while charging.
7. In case of improper filling with solid ingredients that may clog the valve, follow these
instructions. Do not unscrew the head under any circumstances. Place the cream whipper down
and wait until the contents have settled on the bottom. Cover the cap head with a thick cloth
and press the lever several times until the gas has escaped completely. Open the cream whipper
and remove the contents.
8. Do not expose the cream whipper to heat (eg. sun, stove, microwave etc).
9. Do not put the cream whipper in the freezer.
10. Do not use the cream whipper if damaged.
11. Do not use any sharp objects or abrasive materials when cleaning the cream whipper bottle.
12. Please keep instructions handy for future use.
